Sharing the Wisdom of Proverbs in 2012 !
Proverbs Men was founded in 2008 to encourage men to read Proverbs.
Our objective in 2012 is to reach out to 12 million men!
This is a monumental task, but we believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit
and the Power of Faith. Jesus said with faith the size of a mustard seed,
we could move mountains. So let’s share God’s Wisdom by:
· Encouraging Men to share the Wisdom of Proverbs.

· Encouraging Men to share the Wisdom of Proverbs.
· Encouraging Pastors to promote Proverbs with their congregations.
· Encouraging Christian organizations to witness to the need for Proverbs
Therefore, we ask you to share our message.
The Problem - Godly Wisdom vs Worldy Wisdom
Men do not know right from wrong. The wisdom of this world has
blinded men from the Wisdom of God.
Proverbs is about wisdom - knowing the difference between right and wrong;
knowing the difference between Godly wisdom and worldly wisdom.
Worldly wisdom is selfish ambition and envy; Godly wisdom is pure,
peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit,
impartial and sincere. Ref: James 3
Even Christian men have lost their way. They have accepted Jesus
as their LORD and Savior – but fail to make Jesus their Master.
Part of the problem may be that they lack direction. One solution is Proverbs.
The Hebrew word for Proverbs means “to rule or to govern”.
LORD means “to rule or govern”; but few connect the dots to let
Proverbs be their Instruction Manual for Life.
Action # 1 - Become Proverbs Men
There are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs. We challenge men to read
a chapter a day each month for the next year. If they do that faithfully
for a year, they will have read the book of Proverbs 12 times and their
life will never be the same.”
Men need the 12 times because men need the repetition and to see
the influence of God’s wisdom in our lives over a period of time.
Just as one grows in their job or career, one will grow in wisdom.
In addition, share the Wisdom of Proverbs with one man each month,
and encourage that man to do the same. Then pray for each other that
Wisdom will be found. Share with family, church family, friends and
business associates. Read the PM daily reading.
Action #2 - Churches and the Pulpit
Our goal is to reach at least 12 churches in each state, as well as
Christian organizations, and missionaries. We need your help.
Encourage your Pastor and Church to promote Proverbs in 2012.
Have Bible studies and Men’s Groups discuss Proverbs. Have the
Church Bulletin insert a Proverb each week.

Father’s day is June 17, 2012. It is an opportunity to share the
Wisdom of Proverbs and encourage the men and young men of your
church to seek the Wisdom of Proverbs. Proverbs Men will help.
