PROVERBS 1 - God’s Promise
These verses identify the purpose of Proverbs. Proverbs will help us develop our character, so that we can become men of God. The invitation is open to all. James 1:5 states that God will give wisdom generously to all who ask.
Proverbs was written by King Solomon, the wisest man ever. God told Solomon, "Ask for whatever you want me to give to you." Solomon asked for a discerning heart, the ability to know right from wrong. God then blessed him not only with wisdom but also riches and honor. 1 Kings 3:4-15

Here is the very foundation. We must understand that God is our Creator. We were made to serve Him, to honor Him, to please Him. And God promises to us .....
